Aquarium rusting?

My plants and coral and on a couple spots of the glass on the tank are turning brown. Is this algae? whats going on? Any idea?

Its a normal occurance in a new tank.. You can get some snails and such that eat Diatoms.. Such as astraeas.. The will eventually go away as soon as the "Fuel" goes away.. Fuel meaning Po4 and such that was probably in the water and on the LR when it was used.. RO/di water is great as it is 99% pure water.. But some of us that use Ro/DI water when setting up a tank still go thru the Diatoms process...

I don't have live rock. They're just fake plants and fake coral. Won't my puffer eat the snails?
