aquarium salt in a freshwater?

so my question, is aquarium salt good for helping fish recovery? some of my neons from the lfs have nipped tails, but ive read there nto ok with salt, also i have corys, if i can do salt, how would i go about doing this?

With some fish salt does help with healing / recovery. However I believe scaleless fish like Cory's would not do well with Aquarium salt. You're best bet is to set up a QT tank for new fish to treat with salt.
