Looks like terebellid (spaghetti worms)...well the tentacles of them. If that is the case they are not bad for your tank. Typically they appear at the top of your sandbed though. Hmmm...I'm not for certain.

thanks, I just did a little research on them and it is indeed hwat they look like. I have lots of them so I hope they are ok.

They eat a lot of detritus so I wouldn't worry.

They aren't bad. I have a lot in my sump.
