Argentine Swords

On my quest for amazon swords, after my first miserable failure of buying gold ribbon plants (not fully aquatic) i've settled on Argentine swords. Can anyone tell me anything about them, what is their max height, how do they reproduce, do they bush out?

I think they need the same care as Amazon Swords. One thing I've read about them is if you got them in the tubes like they sell in Petsmart / Petco they are grown out of water.
When you submerge them, the plant kills off the old leaves and will grow new ones. Don't be surprised if you start to see they tips yellow and spread to the base.

I bought if from those tubes and only a few leaves actually turned yellow and I just cut them off, but yes it will go through it. I have had if for a few months now and this is it in the center... Mine started off like yours.. I don't know how they reproduce or there max height though. sorry....

Swords are heavy root feeders. If you don't have iron rich substrate, consider adding Root Tabs ( or DIY version ) every 4-6 months.
