Atlantic Blue tang color change

I thought this was pretty cool. I got a juv ABT 1 1/2 yrs ago and it had it's yellow juv colors. Here's a few shots of it changing.

4-09 Shortly after I took it out of qt and put it in my tank

8-09 starting to get some adult colors

8-10 almost full adult colors

Very cool! I love watching fish change colors, I have a fish that pretty much did the reverse (went from blue to yellow... it is a kenyi). Beautiful fish as well!

Awesomeness. When a fish goes from juv to adult and shows such beautiful colors you know it's healthy and happy. Excellent fish dude.

Acanthurus Coelurus, one of my favourite tangs. Here is a pic of my girl, unfortunately I lost her about 12 months ago. She was 10 inches excluding tail.

When I bought my juvenile, the LFS also had a few full grown adults like that. They were really nice......and huge.

Yep, I loved her. A big puppy dog, fed from hand and was a favourite with all the visitors.
