Hi all, I'm thinking about starting a shrimp tank for my office. A member of my local aquarium club has fire red shrimp, which i believe is a neocaridina species. I'd like to get a second type of shrimp for the tank but don't want to worry about cross-breeding. I'm partial to a blue variety but am open to anything colorful and not overly expensive.

I took this from planetinverts...

Any caradina species will not crossbreed with your RCS.

I believe tiger shrimp are really the only ones that live in the same parameters as cherries.

Definitely tigers! Regular, tangerine, red, orange eye blues, probably more that I'm not familiar with

+1 on Tangerine Tigers, these would be one of the hardiest from the Tigers :) right next to the regular tigers!
