Axolotl

Hello everyone!
Thinking about getting an axolotl and I'm looking for some advice on getting started. Tank size, filter/food suggestions and what it's like to have one as a pet! (I'm aware you need a permit here in BC Canada) thanks in advance

Had a friend who had these. They need to have nice clean water or their frilly gills will get ammonia burn and their skin can too.

A large one could be a predator to a smaller one. So if you want to keep more than one try to do frequent water changes, and have ones of similar size. Having a cycled tank is important for parameter/ water quality, stability.
