I was going to get an axolotl but I couldn't because I live in Queensland( it's was 40 degrees Celsius yesterday).
While I was browsing my LFS I realised that they had baby axolotls even though they did not have a chiller or something that would cool the water down, I questioned them and apparently they had been bred in Queensland and have adapted to the heat.
They had managed to stay alive even though the water was 32 degrees Celsius, I am still unsure about getting one as I feel like They would be suffereing. Would I be able to get one?

I've never heard of them being able to live in such high temps, personally.

I have my little guys in 20+ degree water temps. It gets hot here in nsw ATM ( over 40 degrees) but we chuck in ice cubes if it gets to bad but they enjoy any temp. There in a 6 foot tank and there 6 months old and we have 4.
