I have a guppy giving birth right NOW...finally! We have been calling her big mama bc she had been looking like shes going to pop for weeks. I actually seen 2 fry born, how awesome! One of the other females is waiting right underneath "big mama" though, ts snack time for her she ate the 2 I seen born :( I tried feeding to distract the other 3 guppies...no luck so I shut the lights off hoping it would make it harder for the others to see the babies sinking. Was this a bad idea? I know about breeding nets but honestly I don't need them all to live I do however want them to all have a chance. Poor little fry don't even know what hit them :(

Get ok lighting. Like 2 t8 bulbs daylight spectrum. Add a floating plant like hornwort, guppy grass or ceratopteris. Step back and watch your tank fill with guppies.
