My other bala had the same problem, but it always appeared stressed. It died about a month ago when I put it into a quarantine tank for fin rot treatment and it came down with ick... Anyway, now my other bala has cloudy eyes. Anyone know the reasons?
My levels are as follows;
Ammonia: .25 ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: ~ 10ppm (test is orange, I use API. Nitrate is hard to tell with API.)
pH: Between 8.0 and 8.2. It's not dark enough for 8.2 but not quite 8.0 either. Let's call it 8.1
I know the tank is not cycled... I'm getting there, but cycling takes time and moving the tank every few months sure is not helping. I keep saying that we can't move it, but I'm always out voted... Water is about 73 degrees. Any ideas why it's eye is cloudy? I can post pictures if you want to see the fish. The tank is 55 gallons, with 2 bala sharks, 1 rainbow shark, and 5 tiger barbs.
