Hello all,

I have a Balloon Molly (picture attached) that has a wierd orange growth on a couple of its fins. None of my other fish in the tank have this, so it appears to be just this one fish. It seems to be growing a bit. The fish appears healthy, but certainly the growth is slowing him down a bit when it swims.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Gosh, never seen that before. Is it cottony? Does it have mass? Could you take a few more photos at different angles?

It's definitely not cottony, but definitely a mass of some kind. Here are a copy more angles.

Wow. I don't think it's pathogenic. I think it could be a benign or cancerous growth.
