Have 4 bamboo shrimp and a siccie co2 life 2.the shrimp sit around where the carbon fizz comes out with there fans open eating things I can't even see anyone know what it is there eating?

They usually eat small organisms and plant life that float in the water column. Is your tank heavily planted? (assuming so since you're running CO2) A lot of plants help with the food for the shrimp. They usually look for someplace with high flow so they can grab as much as they can from the water with the least amount of effort.

Thought as the op hadn't put any for you I would show you my bamboo shrimp. He's very cool, worth getting one if your tank can support it.

Cool shrimp! I love filter feeders. I wanted to mention that if you see them picking at the substrate they should be supplemented. Micro foods for filter feeders are best. OSI brand makes a powdered one that's good, and you can use liquid phyto/zooplankton formulas as well. Ground spirulina flake/wafers is OK too. Most bamboo shrimp will need supplementation, but in a well established heavily planted tank with no more than 1 shrimp per 20 gals, it may not be necessary.

That's awesome both of them!
I wanna get one but their 10 bucks I think my currents good piece of driftwood for the to freed with the fans
But sadly last time I saw them at petco their currents weren't strong enough and I saw two dead ones

Yea petco always has dead fish in there I go four bout a month ago I just saw 2 idk if 2 died off or what but got one at first from neighborhood fish store he is still in there other one was from 3 were from petco I also have a blue crayfish

They're selling some at pet smart near me right now for like 8 bucks a piece. Unfortunately my tank is too lightly planted for the one I have now so I can't justify getting a couple more cause they would just starve. Hoping to get some good plant growth the next couple months so he'll be better off.

I'll have too check again when I save up 10 for them
Is one good for a 10 gallon theirs a few ghost shrimp betta and neons and it's heavily planted

Mine seemed to do ok when he was in a 10 gallon with a couple snails and some fish. It only had like a couple plants. I would throw some algae wafers in every once in a while and tried to let stuff grow in it so he would have something to eat but I still saw him scraping the rocks every once in a while. If you're heavily planted it should be fine.

Sweet now I just gotta save up lol

Bamboo shrimp are social and like to colonize with other bamboo shrimp. I wouldn't keep just one. Mine are almost always together, and when I had just one it was more reclusive and seemed to liven up when I added a buddy. If your stock ratio is more than 1 per every 20 gals I recommend supplementing with the type of foods I mentioned previously if you want to have long term success with the shrimp.

Would they interact with ghost shrimp?

Nope. Mine don't hang with my vampire shrimp either. Just eachother.

Bamboo eating
