Hello everyone. I have a common goldfish that is about 3 inches in a 20 gallon that I am planning on moving to a 50 gallon in about a month or so. I noticed a tiny bit of excessive slime coat on him and when I did a bit of research, he shared the other symptoms of Chilodonella. He seems to be in the early stages of the infection for the excessive slime coat is minimal. I am wondering what the best treatment for this would be. I am not experienced with treating fish so I am afraid I may do something wrong in treatment and end up hurting him. Should I use aquarium salt? Please help!
