Best Cichlid for me?

Hi I currently have a 48 litre with

Two mollies but thirty babies
Three neons
Three Harliquens


These are what I would like to add

Three rummynose
Three guppies

I was wondering about Cichlids what would be good for me

So you roughly have a 12.6 gallon tank from my understanding. For cichlids I could only recommend kribensis and I think that is even pushing it. The reason I would go with kribs is that they can tolerate a higher ph level and are much hardier then german blues. Bolivians are a bit larger then kribensis so I ruled them out.

I'm sure someone else will offer some advice as well and hopefully I helped out a bit

None. Your tank is too small for Cichlids.

What size of tank are you looking into? If you went to a 55 gallon you could do quite a bit. Bolivians, German blues, kribensis, mbuna cichlids, blue acei, etc

I would go no less then a 55 gallon, easier to maintain, much more stocking options as well and more room to aqua scape. If you can go to a 75 you have it made. If you go that big I would recommend a canister filter like a fluval. Or run dual fluval C4's to optimize filtration.
