All,
One of my actinic bulbs was not working, so I swapped out a good one for the bad and it still didn't work. I figure the ballast might be bad? If so, where's the best source for replacement parts.
My light has (2) 55W 10,000 daylight bulbs and (2) 65W actinics. 4 straight pin design
The real question: Is it worth constantly replacing parts on these lights or is there a better alternative? I'm a strict FOWLR guy, and I think my fish guy sold me these lights thinking I would eventually upgrade to a full blown reef system. I've been told on previous posts that these lights are not necessary for a FOWLR. It seems the CA don't need all the wattage nor do the fish.
Thanks
