Best way to grow tiger lotus?

Hi everyone! I just ordered some tiger lotus bulbs and im seeking some suggestions on the best way to get them started. I have never started an aquarium plant from a bulb. I was thinking of placing them in some water with miracle grow & direct sunlight? Appreciate any suggestions!

I grew mine out in an 80g brackish water tank with no ferts and high light (4 6500k 55w compact fluorescent bulbs) I did nothing special. Once one was big enough, I transfered it over to a FW tank. Again, nothing special.

Some bulbs seem like they won't grow, just give them time. As long as they aren't squishy, they're still viable.
