So I am noticing a little bit of brown algae looking stuff on my wisteria. Its been planted for almost a month now and it starting to look kind of... ugly.

I was wondering what the best way to clean off the leaves without damaging the plant?

Suggestions/ideas?

I have an aquarium kit, paint brushes (new of course) for removing poo and algae from plants, aqueon water changer and my algae scraping tools.

Paint brushes seem to work well when you are concerned about damaging plants.

Hope it helps, good luck.

If you want to try a natural way use shrimp or snails or algae eater fish. Or you could try liquid algae control.

Thanks for the paintbrush idea, RedFlame. Ive got plenty of those lying around, some of which havent been used in years. Ill just wash them out really well first.

I do have algae eaters in my tank... a hifin pleco and two bristlenose plecos. Shrimp and snails are not really an option. My fish would eat those. :)
