Betta fish help!! And Ram fish help!

Hello all of sudden recently I have had some of my fish get sick. My betta fish has all of a sudden stopped eating and only stays at the top of the tank. I saw a long white thing come out of her which I believe is a intestinal worm. I looked online and saw adding garlic to fish food gets rid of worms. But she has stopped eating so it won't work. Also I recently got a pair of golden ram fish who right after they got settled started getting white little dots on them. I believe its ick so I got them medicine for it but its been like almost two weeks with a 55% water change and they still haven't gone away. Any advice would be awesome!!!

Hi, prazi would be one to look into for worms. Not entirely convinced garlic would be a total cure there.

What sort of ick medicine did you get?
