Wow! Thanks for the link. Being a native East Texan, I've pulled in some large cats myself. Largest was an 84 pound blue. I've also pulled a few ~20 lbs channels as well.

Very good stuff indeed (provided you're an angler.... or at least not a fish activist.)

I wonder if it fought or just came in like a sodden log? Personally, I like going after the big sturgeon....beats any catfish outside a wels.

speaking of sturgeon....i was on Lake Champlain in Vermont fishing catching nothing too amazing and all of a sudden a huuuuge sturgeon swam right by our boat, it had to be a good 4-5 feet long....i wish i caught that bad boy...lol
