Biocube protein skimmer

Anybody have luck with it? Ive heard good and bad.. I wanna put it on my 29 gallon (not a biocube)

If it's the one I'm thinking of (with the air pump & air stone), I'd recommend against it. The air stone requires regular replacement, and as the airstone depletes, you're constantly making adjustments to keep it skimming properly. If you're looking at putting the skimmer directly into the back corner of the tank, I'd maybe go with something like a small Tunze 9002 or Hydor slim-skim, or go with a BakPak HOB skimmer.

I never got it to work right in my 14gallon. The cup fills really fast and it was impossible to dial in...

Ok thats what i though thanks both for the input, Im not gonna wanna change that airstone, Im gonna look into the ones you posted Thanks!
