I'm setting up a Biocube 29, and I bought it used. No idea how good the lights are, so I will be replacing them.

Suggestions on what lights to replace them with?

Also, where is a good place to buy them?

I plan to upgrade to LED's down the road, but for now I'm just looking to replace with compacts.

Thanks!

So are you saying just to use stock oceanic bulbs?

Are there any better bulbs that fit like UVL or ATI?

No I don't believe so. Your stuck with the stock lights/bulbs. ATI doesn't make anything either. LED is gonna be the way to go. You can gut the entire hood and get rid of that dreaded fan noise.

Still gonna need the fans with LED's though...

I'm just looking to get replacements interim, until I upgrade. I love my radion on my 54, but I don't see spending that on such a small reef with one fish!

I'll stick with the coralife bulbs for now, and most likely go AI in the near future ~ six - eight months.

I was just curious if there was anything better than stock. Thanks guys!
