I have a black moor (now gold) that a few months ago had a small bubble growing above the left eye. In the past week it has grown aggressively and now looks like a brown sac that flaps above his eye as he swims almost obscuring it.
I need to get him into a bigger tank and work more on water quality etc. (he is in a biorb 30litre bowl that I now realise is terribly small and inadequate) but right now I'm trying to get a diagnosis and treatment plan for this lump.
He did seem to become listless before when the lump started to grow but right now he does seem ok in himself but the lump does look pretty worrying.
