So, long story short, my school of black skirts suddenly jumped one of my glass cats, nearly killing him. I would much rather have my glass cats over my black skirts, so when i sell or trade these to the store, what fish should I get as replacements? I want a peaceful schooling fish that will occupy the same area of the tank, and will not eat plants. What do you guys recommend? I was thinking maybe upside down catfish, but I am still open to any suggestions!

I have both diamond and candycane tetras and they seem ideal for what you want. Or maybe cardinal tetras? You can never go wrong with upside-down cats though.

I have angels, so I will probably stay away from cardinals, but the others seem like great candidates!

Yeah, never thought about that. I would say just deep bodied tetras in general. My personal favs are bleeding hearts, lemons, candycanes, and diamonds.
