Bladder snail eggs

Do bladder snails lay eggs above or below the water surface? How do you know if they are fertilized?

If you mean bladder pond snails then they are always fertilized and ive seen them laid everywhere. Though mainly on plants and glass below.

Does anyone know how long they take to hatch? I'm afraid mine might be dead since they are above the waters surface.
Bladder snails are actually kind of nice. Especially for a small tank with limited surface space since they are kind of like bettas in that they glide on the surface to breathe.
