Blue lobsters

Has anyone had any experience with blue fresh water lobsters . Petco has them they are really nice . Are they hardy ? I have cichlids in my tank

They are beautiful, BUT you have to keep their claws trimmed. They will chase your fish and try to catch them. I had one but had to keep it alone.

They will hunt and kill fish, you can't trim their claws unless you cut them off then they will just grow bigger. Best for species only tank

Lobsters will eat fish. Fish will eat lobsters when they are molting.

I've had a few and I noticed that they do go for fish when they feel threatened. If you give them plenty of room and places to hide they will keep to themselves. Don't recommend having more then one tho. Oh and if you have live plants they will uproot them just because they can lol.
