it's a bit small, if you plan on keeping it for years to come, then i'd reconsider unless you plan on upgrading to a bigger tank someday. It would be ok for a while, but you'd want/need a bigger tank later. They can get big!

When I had the 37G, a 75G looks big. Now I have the 75G, it still looks small. Reason... My yellow tank has grown from 2" to 3.5" in 18 months. It pushed me to upgrade the tank size. I want to get a blue tank too but I know I can't afford anything anytime soon, unless I upgrade the house first......
 
If you get a real small one it should be fine for a while but they grow up to 12", in a 48" long tank that does not give him much room when full grown.
