Have 2 bolivian butterfly cichlids in my tank that I got about 3 weeks ago. I had them in my hospital tank just in case as I do with all my fish and transferred them to my community 3ft 156 liter tank about a week ago. I have noticed them swimming together but I was sure I had 2 females so I didn't think much of it until I got home from work today and saw that I had eggs! The parents have chased away any fish that goes into their territory and are fanning their eggs happily. My main concern is I don't know how aggressive they get during breeding. I have 2 adult bristlenose, countless bristlenose fry, a female fighter fish, 2 corydora and 2 dwarf gourami in the tank. They seem pretty chill for now but any advice would be more than welcome!

I think you'll be ok, if anything they may chase off a curious gourami and cory but no harm should come to any of them. They are protective, they won't hunt down suspects lol

Mum and dad are doing a great job with these guys, wigglers are tiny though!
