I have bought a new Bolivian Ram for my 26 gallon tank, and about 2 weeks later I notice this sore above his head. I don't what it is. Is it an injury, disease, or what is it? It looks serious and I don't want him to die. Please help me if you have any idea what it is and what I can do to get rid of it.

From the pic, it looks like he has a tumor of some sort or lymphocystis. You can distinctly see his black stripe in the growth indicating that the cells have enlarged vs a growth seperate from his skin cells. Both are viral in nature and typically will run their course on their own schedule. If it continues to grow, becomes infected or impacts his quality of life, I would seek the help of an aquatic vet.

EDIT- link didnt work, this should!http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/management/Lawler_Lymphocystis.html
