Well, actually, I guess it would be more accurate to say that mine REFUSE to be bored. 
For whatever reason, I kept noticing that my thermometer lately will not stay attached to the side of the tank. I'm still not sure whether the suction cup is defective, or whether my fish are stronger than I would have thought and are knocking it loose. But what I discovered after it is knocked loose and floating around the tank is that my roseline sharks like to play with it by ramming it and knocking it around the tank. I don't believe they could knock it hard enough to cause it to break, even if it hit the glass. But it sure was fun to watch when I saw them doing it this morning.
