BPS and convicts

Hi, i plan to cross breed bps and convicts because they're interesting. Yes i know the risks, but i want to see what it looks like.

Will they get along?
How do you sex them physically?

Sexing the BP is going to be next to impossible unless you vent it. Female convicts will have a reddish-orange patch on the belly.

will they get along if i add the convict into the tank first, then introduce the bps, or should i introduce them the same time. They are about the same size.
