Has anyone ever tried Breathing Bags? My macro algae just came in them, and they look neat. Do they work?

Fantastically. I use them all the time, and a friend of mine decided to give them a major test, and put four juvenile Corydoras sterbai in a mid-sized breather bag.....and all four were just dandy after nearly 6 days.

Great - thanks. My algae was looking pretty good after four days (since when does two day shipping take four days?). I like that the "breathability" increases as the temperature does.

It's a shame more people don't use them; this is the first I had heard of them.

These things are cool! They are also used in the salad industry. Those bags of salad you see in the grocery store in the refrigerated section are typically breathing bags as well. It helps to keep the vegetables in good order.

Its about time someone brought that technology over to aquaria.
