Is it easy to breed shrimp or is there something to it?

From what I have heard you just get 6 and in a few months you will have tons haha. I got 4 and they all died, so I gave up. Now I have japonica shrimp, they are cool little guys. They don't bread, but they will get cool looking green eggs in there saddles, at least a couple of them do.

I'm have three shrimp don't know what they are but I read that their breed cannot breed in captivity

Supposedly red cherry shrimp just multiply like bunnies.

They do breed like rabbits. I have a tank full of them started with 20 now i cant count them all.. The big things are clean water and stable parameters. And nothing that will eat the shrimplets of course.

Yes thank you, I will set up a tank to house the baby's until big enough. I have a 55 gal so it should take a while to fill the bottom up
