This is about 1inch ling when it is stretched out. I am guessing a Bristle worm? I have been finding them in my filter socks when I clean them. Magnified about 50x with digital microscope.

Good or Bad?
I m guessing good as i have not seen any issues in my tank as of yet. I believe I had them in my 75gallon tank as well before I upgraded to a 120.

Thanks

If my guess was correct, they prey on sponges and the like, and you probably will never see the result of their exploits.

Awesome shots btw.

Thanks,

So far they have been leaving the little pineapple sponges alone. There are about 30 in the tank. Thanks again for the help.
