I have a brush algae problem in a 20 Gallon long and a 55 gallon tank. I was wondering if Bristlenose Plecos would eat this kind of algae. Thanks!

Definitely not. There are few algae eating fish to combat this scourge. Two fish which are reputed to eat BBA are true SAEs and Rosy barbs. Although, I've tried both without great success. Good Luck

Aww man that really sucks. I already know the cause: Direct Sunlight. I'll be moving the tank to a different spot in a few days. I also added DIY Yeast Co2 yesterday and its bubbling today. PH is also stable. I guess the main question is, would a blackout help? If so, how much? What else can I do. I am not too familiar with the iron tests and other dosings, etc.
