yes it artificial. Tank is a new setup about a few 2 months old. How do I prevent it from coming back. I read info on lighting is not good enough. Its a 90 gallon tank and is 48" long. I have a 36" national geographic led light. Do I need more?

Hopefully someone with better light knowledge pops up. How many hours a day do you keep the lights on? Reducing light time is really the only way to prevent algae from growing back. Regular cleanings also helps. If you give the deco a good wipe down at least once a week, you shouldn't have much of an issue with it.
