I have an Evo 13.5 that’s been up for almost 6mos. I currently have 2 Ocellaris clowns, a small 2 polyp mushroom, a 4” x 4” mat of green star polyp, a red & green Blastomussa with about 5 polyps, and a BTA (not sure what kind). I also just got a Luminie Asta 120 about 4 days after I got the BTA. As for the light, I slowly ramped it up over 3 days and am currently at ch1 50%, ch2 30%, ch3 50% and ch4 30%. Water parameters are great according to my testing as well as testing at the LFS which also did Calcium, GH, etc which my kit doesn’t do. Ammonia is 0, nitrates are 0, sg is 1.025. The mushrooms and Blastomussa are fully open just like at the LFS where I got them. My problem is the BTA. It immediately went under a cave in my tank and only occasionally would come out at night. One night it was on the side glass and was massive looking, though it was just the base, I’ve never really seen it open it’s tentacles very much. The other day it was on the back wall rock of the cave so I moved the rock out into the open since I thought maybe it didn’t realize I had gotten the proper light a few days before, but that night it went right back under the cave. Any advice for anything else I can do, maybe adjust the light etc?? The BTA doesn’t look sick, it just sort of sits there looking like a toad stool and obviously I’d like it out in the open and fully open. Thanks in advance
