Hi all: I just wanted to make sure this was normal behavior, not that I can do much about it. My anemone moved during the night and really wedged himself in the crevices of a piece of LR.

NH4 --0
NO2--0
NO3 <5
Temp 78
SG 1.023
pH 8.3

Do they wedge themselves in to feel more secure?

They tend to move to where they are comfortable. I would suggest not trying to move it. It might take some time to acclimate to your lights. How old is your tank?

Tank is about 11-12 months.

Wasn't planning on moving him, just wanted to make sure I didn't have any defficiencies. He is WAY down inthe crack, couldn't get him out if I tried.

He was happy yesterday on his rock, but I noticed the Emerald was getting under him to look for stuff to eat last night, maybe he just wanted to move to get away from the crab.

Who knows, these things have a mind of their own.

This is true. Also the reason he is wedged in there is because they hide there foot in a shady place.
