Can I do a submerged bubbler in sand, as I would in gravel? Or is the sand too fine and the bubbler will blow it away and expose the unit.

I'm going to set one up too and I have sand. Should I just attach it to the wall near the bottom but not in the sand?

I wouldn't bury it bc I am sure it would just stir up a sand cloud.

I have bubblers in my sand substrate tanks and keep them a minimum of half inch above the sand. I have no issues with sandy water or clogging.

I had mine burried at first, it was making air pockets under the sand for a few seconds and would bubble thus making the sand shoot up mid tank. I wouldnt do it IMO.
