i got bubbles when i added my lr but nothing after.... not sure if bad .. recomend keeping a eye on and maybebe do a pwc and siphon some off and see if reappear.
Does the red come off if you scrape it? If so it may be cyano bacteria and you need to cut down on feeding, increase flow to that area and maybe cut the lights bacd for a while.
I used a turkey baster and blew some air on it and the bubbles floated to the top and there was also some reddish stuff floating after I did that.
I do feed quite a bit so i think that is the issue. I'm going to be taking everything out of my tank due to an ich outbreak so I should be able to starve the tank for a while and really cut down the lights once all the fish are out.
Lookes like your going threw a Nitrogen Cycle which is a good thing... I can't remember I think Ccapt may know more about it-- has somoething to do with your Nitrites being eaten up....
Definitely more flow will help you out a lot. Check to see if your power heads or skimmer are releasing micro bubbles. That looks like a lot of bubbles to be produced from just the cyano. Looks more like bubbles are being made somewhere else and sticking to it.
