Bugs? in my water pot

I made a water pot with some floating plants in it two weeks ago. No fish yet. And today I took a close look and I see some rice-grain-sized bugs swimming in it.

They're blackish brown with top segments similar to that of a roly poly. Tail slightly bend and with legs similar to shrimp.

Wondering if anyone know what these are.

sounds like scuds they live in fresh water and are no problem fish love to eat them , get some fish in there soon or you will get mosquitoes in there

Watching them kinda make me wanna not get fish and just keep them as is. There's hardly any mosquitoes in my region though so I think that won't be a problem
