Hello everyone,
I have a 20 gallon aquarium that has lots and lots of baby mystery snails in it. I think they are about 3 weeks old now. I wasn't planning on breeding my snail, but when eggs hatched I couldn't kill the little guys. I took out all of the fish to accompany the bioload. The mom is still in there with the babies along with a netrite snail. I've noticed little bugs all over the baby's shells though. At first I thought they were algae and I don't see any on the bigger snails. The bugs were also at the top of the water. I haven't been able to clean the gravel for fear of sucking up the baby snails.
Also the tank is fully cycled and the ph is about 7.8
I feed them tetra tropical flakes and algae wafers.
The tank is about 5 months old. The netrite snail is the newest and has been around for a month.
I've been doing water changes every other week and vacuming the gravel once a month.
The filter is a top find 20 and I used white sand substrate from the pet store.
