Bulge on betta

I noticed my betta has a bulge on his right side right before his tail. He acts fine, it doesn't seem to bother him. I just want to know if I should worry and if anyone knows what it could be.


I have him in a 10g that is heated and filtered and do water changes every week. Tested my water and all readings are good.

1. what test kit are you using
2. what are the exact water params
3. I'm thinking a cyst/tumor

I'm using API freshwater master kit. The readings are ph. 7.2, ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 0ppm, nitrate 5.0 ppm

All good. No open wound or scrape from a sharp object or attacked by another fish or anything?

All I can think of is to try medicated fish foods with prazi and metro in case there is some parasite cause.
