Bumble Bee Cichlid with Electric Blue Crayfish

Out of necessity I need to temporarily keep the Cichlid with my crayfish. How do i keep him from eating the crayfish that is half his size?

For how long? I'd probably make something to keep the Cray in. Take a container and put some holes in it and clip it to the inside of the tank where it can't get out

It'll be fore about a month. I have multiple tanks for the crayfish to hide in so i'm hoping that works
