I would post this to Planet Catfish. Best group of experienced Pleco breeders/owners besides this site, for advice.

Very very cool. You guys and gals are the greatest.. Very good idea to tie it off.As of now it might look alittle smaller.. Not to sure cause I just got home and I can't see under his mouth. I am gonna drop the a call and ask there advice as well as prices especially NYC is just ridiculous with prices. My mothers hedgehog had a tumor on it jaw and she brought it to a animal hospital and it cost her $1300 and it died the next day.. I love my little guy but not that much.i guess I'll just keep it up with the clean water + salt and once it reaches to the point it covers his mouth I will definitely try my little operation on him.very good read fits my situation perfectly.once again your helped is greatly appreciated, you people rock!!!

Ohh and i am awaiting approval from planetcatfish.com. Didn't know about that site. I found out about some new stuff about my cory cats and bristle nose..

Since I last talked to you guys it has doubled size.. When he's sucked to glass as he takes water in the growth goes down his throat.. Everything is happening as did the articles you guys posted.only as those problems happened over a long time pd of a year to a year and a half. For me this happened all within a month and a half. It even came out of one nostril now.. I really don't wanna give up and euthanize him,but is he suffering.if you ask me he's the happiest pleco in the world.out and about all day eating great.

Clove oil and a scalpel?? Sedate and cut away? Than into a sterile qt tank with minor traces of salt Or melafix? You could try an experiment for the better of the hobby..

Iam praying this thing falls off, because now it's large and has a lot of movement to it now.ill give him some more time,in the meantime I'll buy a scalpel and the stuff I need.. Not sure where I can buy a scalpel really in Brooklyn,NY due to the idiotic people and what they do with things like that.buys me some time

A single edge razor blade from any hardware store will do.. Or exacto knife from art supply store would be better.. Just sterilize with alcohol first..

It's one thing after another now.. My pleco is still doing well, still has the growth on it though...but everything seemed fine last night I haven't added nothing to my tank in months woke up to my bristle nose dead, and one green tiger barb is almost completely white and a few others have white patches on there sides.all my fish are flashing swimming erratically.. I treated with full treatment of api general cure and did nothing..Any ideas to what this can be now? I tried the general cure

Oh man..... That's aweful bro.. Could be columnaris?? Strange though nothing has changed in months huh???

Now that iam thinking when my butterfly got the growth I had a bristle nose in my qt for 9 days and put him in main tank.. Didn't have another tank and didn't wait the 2 plus weeks. That would be my only change and it makes sense cause that was the first fish to go now everyone else is showing signs.. What's the best way to treat at this point I don't care about my 25 plants,I care about my fish.. Stupid mistake

It happens... If you can get some better pics it would help but based on the saddle back lesions in the first pic.. API Triple sulpha..
