Cabomba plant lighting,

My friend wants to get an aquarium kit with some kind of led light strip. I think it's made by marineland. He wants Cabomba really badly, will this light be okay for it? I didn't think so. What do you think?
 
What size tank, and can you find a link to the fixture? What you are asking depends on a number of variables...

I would say most likely not but until we see what your friend has in mind we won't know.
 
Yup Rook is right on, that is not going to work for growing cabomba.
 
yeah, that's pretty much the same lighting as the one in the link I provided... I would definitely say no for any low-medium, medium, or high light plants... but still a big maybe on the low light stuff.
