Could a bolivian ram be kept with no other rams in the tank and still be happy? Or would it stress it?

It probably can, but I think it would be happier in a pair.

It will be okay, but a pair would be better tank size permitting, if not add at least a few small Tetra if again tank size allows.

It would be with tetras and cherry barbs and a dwarf gourami. I think I will get 2 though.
