can anyone identify these white dots?

Its only on my driftwood that iv had about 6months now. I just noticed the spots today . I haven't touched then yep in fear they could be eggs or what not.

Water specks are good.

Well, it looks like snail eggs to me! :) They probably belong to your zebra snails, since mystery snail eggs are usually in clutches of eggs.
 
They are Nerite snail eggs. They will not hatch, because they require salt water to hatch. The snails will lay them anywhere at all, but they tend to be most noticeable on wood. They do no harm, you can scrub them off if you want, but over time they tend to fade away. But as they keep laying new ones, that's not much help if you don't care for how they look.
