I found a 36inch light fixture with a 10k coralife bulb in it. I have two 10 gallons and I was thinking about just putting the two ten gallons side by side with a few spaces apart to grow some java moss, xmass moss, hornwort, dwarf sags and jungle val. Will the 10k be enough light? I will probably toss in a couple of shrimps see what happens from there. Both tanks have sand substrate. Planning on making some DIY root tabs to help feed these plants. What type of bulbs t8, t5, t5ho, etc? I grew low light plants just fine with dual t5's 10k bulbs on my 40b. The kelvin ratings isn't as important as long as it's not too far about 10k. But regardless 10g are pretty short so even if your bulbs are T8's I think you'd still be safe :)
