20 g long with marineland penguin 200 50g filter

2 upside down catfish

There are 2-3 ghost shrimp in there that have survived for several weeks so I am thinking a bamboo shrimp would be ok. It has a stronger current than the tank it is in now. Whatcha think?

So, IME with bamboo shrimp bigger tanks are usually better. In a 20g tank, you can make it work though but you should do supplemental feedings to make sure your little guy/guys have enough to eat. In general, I prefer to keep them in more like a 29g minimum, but I know some people who have successfully kept them in smaller tanks with supplemental feedings. With that filter, you should have a nice strong current, you just need to make sure there is enough stuff for the shrimp top filter out of it.
Just a note, when you pick a shrimp out, make sure to look for one who has its fans spread out so you know it is healthy. :)
