Can I lower my water level in my aquarium

I really love the look of paludriums? And I was wondering if it would be a bad decision to lower my water level to around 60 or 70% it's not that big only a 15 gallon housing 6 Cory's and a Betta I guess it would effectively make my tank smaller right? So it would be harder to maintain

I think you are right - I'd say go for it except for the fish and tank is on the small side.

You might also venture into the "overstocked" region with your stock and 9-10 gals of water...

Biggest down side I can see is the noise of the falling water.
